Out of approximately 2,000 applicants, nine acts were selected through preliminary audio screening, nationwide studio screening, and final live screening to win slots on the SONIC STAGE, PACIFIC STAGE, Spotify STAGE, and MASSIVE STAGE! Additionally, two groups were selected from the newly established “BUZZNNO!? SAMASONI!?” category. In an era where anyone can share their music with the world from anywhere, we look forward to seeing how these songs will freely spread and resonate through the venue monitors on the day of SUMMER SONIC.
