With today’s announcement of Mrs. GREEN APPLE as the final act, the full lineup for SUMMER SONIC 2025 is now complete - along with the release of this year’s timetable.
While the booking process for international artists started off nervously slow, we’re thrilled to say that, including SONICMANIA, more than 150 incredible artists from around the world will be gathering in both Tokyo and Osaka.
One of the highlights this year is FEID - a superstar in Latin music and a headliner at Lollapalooza - who has personally curated the lineup and covered all expenses to recreate his own festival experience on the Beach Stage, introducing Latin and reggaeton music to Japan.
Now begins the fun - and difficult - part: choosing who to see and who to (sadly) miss. Please be sure to schedule sufficient breaks, meal times, and hydration periods throughout the timetable.

Last year at the Tokyo venue, heat countermeasures were further improved with additional rest areas and water stations, relocation of merchandise booths and cloakrooms indoors, and a reduction in waiting lines thanks to the introduction of early morning tickets. As a result, the number of heatstroke-related visits to the first aid station decreased significantly.
With four main stages located indoors and free shuttle buses running between indoor and outdoor areas, the audience was able to choose their preferred areas and take breaks at their own pace, contributing to these improvements year after year.

In Osaka, the festival’s move to Expo '70 Commemorative Park was incredibly well received. The lush natural setting and abundant trees provided welcome shade and peaceful rest areas. This year, we’re adding even more water stations and expanding the free tent area to make your second year in this paradise - beneath the iconic Tower of the Sun - even more comfortable. Of course, both the Tokyo and Osaka venues also allow easy access to large nearby shopping and entertainment complexes.
